Cher performs Womans World on The Voice.

Cher mega Oscar, Grammy, Emmy and three-time Golden Globe winner performed her new single, “Woman’s World.”  on THE VOICE.  The single is off her new album CLOSER TO THE TRUTH which debuts September 24th.

The look was a little different with a crazy birds nest looking hair style/wig, a black bra revealing her stomach, Bieber style pants and a black leather jacket.   We were expecting the paper wig with a more colorful outfit and not quite as PUNK.  However this 67 years old ROCKED The Voice and it was an AMAZING different performance from CHER

Cher also answered questions backstage that fans had been submitting via Twitter.  This was an incredible event for those who tuned in.

CHER TO DEBUT WOMANS WORLD ON VOICE

Cher will debut her new single Woman’s World on “The Voice” Finale June 18.  This will be her first live TV performance in more than 10 years making a historical comeback.

Cher will perform Woman’s World, the first single off her upcoming new studio album reportedly of the same name, due Sept. 24 on a spectacular stage with out of this world lighting and sound. Woman’s World marks the first Cher new album in an over 12 year wait for Cher fans.

Recently Cher co-hosted the “Women in Film” Series with Robert Osborne, helped promote her Mom’s new CD “Honky Tonk Woman” and produced the Lifetime show “Dear Mom, Love Cher” which aired last month and will be released on DVD later this year.  Cher is the only artist to have a No. 1 single on the Billboard pop charts in each of the last six decades.

Warner Bros and Cher have also released the official single cover and announced that the single Woman’s World will be available to download on iTunes June 18.  The cover art for Woman’s World shows Cher wearing the same newspaper wig that will appear in the music video.

Cher performs in Degestan at Anji arena

Cher performed at the grand opening of the Anji Arena in Dagestan, Russia, and the home of Russian Premier League club Anzhi Makhachkala.  The stadium was built on the site of Anzhi’s former home, Khazar Stadium.  Cher held a mini concert and changed costumes a handful of times and sang hits including Believe, Turn Back Time, Gypsies Tramps and Thieves and All or Nothing.  Cher rehashed some costumes from her Farewell Tour and Las Vegas along with vibrant background lighting effects.

The concert was shown on TV in Russia however due to contract stipulations Cher’s appearance was not shown.  The crowd was a little disappointing with some having their backs turned while Cher was performing and the dancing arena barely full. Cher takes off for Russia

Cher was spotted at LA Airport with Elijah on her way to perform in Russia for the opening of a new stadium called Anji Arena in Dagestan Republic.  A grand 3D show is planned for June 1st in celebration of children’s day featuring various Russian superstars with Cher being the headline act. All fees from the concert will be donated to charity. Ticket prices in dancing orchestra are 300 rubles a ticket and individual seats cost between 700 to 1300 rubles.

With various fans tweeting Cher on the terrorism facing Dagestan, Cher tweeted back “Not to worry! So much money goes to children, and you can get killed in a bathtub!”

Cher also revealed on twitter that her world tour will now kick off in April 2014 after her Woman’s World single released in June and new album in September.
